Commission a Custom Artwork

Are you envisioning a unique artwork created especially for your space? Whether you are seeking a large-scale painting, a sculptural wall installation, or a meaningful statement piece — I create commissioned works developed in dialogue with you and guided by my established artistic language. Each piece is conceived individually and remains a unique, original work.

From Idea to Artwork: The Process

1. Let’s talk
We begin with a relaxed, non-binding conversation — via video call or in person (if you're based in Switzerland). You'll share your ideas, your space, and your vision.

2. Understanding your space
You’re welcome to send photos or plans of the room. If possible, we can arrange a site visit (Zurich/Swiss region). I take note of light, mood, colors, and materials — to understand the atmosphere and context in which the artwork will exist.

3. First Ideas
I’ll share a few initial thoughts or rough sketches to explore feeling, format, and color direction — just enough to sense if we’re aligned.

4. Agreement
Before moving into detailed concept work, we’ll set up a simple written agreement covering the final artwork details – for both our clarity and peace of mind. I’ll send a brief one-page agreement summarizing: size, medium, palette, price, timeline, delivery and what’s included.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure and begin the commission. This deposit covers materials and studio time allocated exclusively to your piece. The remaining balance is due before delivery.
You receive the original artwork and a certificate of authenticity. Copyright remains with me. If privacy is important, I will share a documentation only with your consent.

5. Concept & Mood
I’ll create moodboards and sketches to reflect the feeling, colors, and composition of the piece – aligned with your input. One refinement round is included to ensure alignment before final execution. Minor tonal adjustments during the process are naturally possible within the agreed direction. Further significant changes beyond the agreed concept may require additional fees.

6. Creation & Delivery
Once the agreement is signed, the concept is approved and the deposit is received, I begin the artwork. I create the artwork and share 1–2 progress updates (if desired). Minor tonal adjustments within the agreed direction may be discussed before final varnishing. The final piece is delivered ready to hang — by shipping or local handover in Zurich.

7. Let’s get started
Ready to explore your own artwork? Whether you already have a vision or just a feeling, I'm here to help you shape it.
Fill out the contact form to begin the conversation — I’ll be in touch shortly to schedule a relaxed, no-obligation call.
