Bio

I am a contemporary artist living and working in Zurich.

My artistic practice combines figurative reduction with poetic abstraction. I’m drawn to fleeting moments, atmospheric depth, and the emotional space between thought and sensation — to presence, resonance, and the intimacy of being.

Originally trained in graphic design and illustration, I studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and spent over a decade working as an art director and designer across publishing, advertising, and digital media. After years of working in visual design and creative direction, I returned to painting in 2024 with a renewed artistic voice. I now focus fully on my studio practice, combining my visual sensibility with an intuitive, expressive approach.

My visual language is shaped by rhythm, intuition, and clarity. I follow color not only with my eyes but with the feeling it evokes. What interests me most is not narrative, but emotion — the trace of gesture, the silence between forms, the honesty of imperfection. Texture, breath, and irregularity are part of my work: they make it vulnerable, tangible, and alive.

Artists Statement

My art is about the here and now – a state of presence in which light, color, form and feeling become tangible. I aim to create spaces of quiet emotion and visual rhythm.
